OVERNIGHT CARE

OVERNIGHT CARE

WE ARE THERE FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE HOURS

There are many reasons you or your loved one may need overnight home care.  Confusion, risk of falls, confusion due to Alzheimer’s or dementia, a hospital stay, an injury, or a much-needed break for the primary caregiver in the form of respite care.  Our CT home care agency’s qualified caregivers are trained to handle the many situations that can come up in the middle of the night, providing you with peace of mind and keeping your loved one safe.

CONFUSION:

A professional Home CARE Specialist will visit your home to conduct an initial free assessment of specific home health care needs, and will work closely with you to create a personalized assisted living plan.  The Home CARE Specialist will ascertain your individual needs and will utilize our proprietary CARELink Caregiver Matching System to link you with a home caregiver that has the skills, abilities and personality that best suits your needs.  This in-home assisted living assessment is the first step in being matched with a quality home care professional.  Depending on your needs, we will recommend a home health aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or homemaker and companion.  The Home CARE Specialist will further follow up with you on a monthly basis to ensure your expectations are being met.

MEDICAL CONDITION:

If your loved one has a medical condition, which confines them to a bed or requires bed rest, a qualified overnight caregiver can help with using the restroom, walking, or simply getting a drink.  Depending on the type and level of medical condition, overnight care is available in CT from each category of our home care agency’s caregiving professionals, including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), home health aides, homemakers and companions.

SLEEP DISRUPTIONS:

If your loved one suffers from sleep disruptions, an overnight caregiver can gently help return them to sleep.  Often, just having someone in the room provides enough comfort and peace of mind to safely fall back asleep.  Sleep is one of the most vital elements of health sustainability and independence.  A good night’s rest leads to a better and healthier day, regardless of the medical condition or situation.

HOSPITAL STAY:

If your loved one has recently stayed in the hospital or a long-term care facility, they may need help transitioning back into their own home.  A temporary respite care home health professional may resolve some of the challenges of returning home with overnight assisted living in CT.  Our qualified home caregivers provide safety and facilitate a faster transition to independent living.  If your loved one is currently in the hospital, our caregivers can provide respite care, while providing your loved one with extra attention and support.
